I created Milk Minded because I needed it too. After years of helping moms as a NICU nurse and lactation consultant, I thought I understood how demanding pumping could be. Then I became a pumping mom myself.

WHERE IT STARTED
My Experience
As a NICU nurse and lactation consultant, I’ve spent years supporting mothers through breastfeeding and pumping. I understood the challenges, but becoming a mother myself made them personal. Every few hours, day and night, I was back at the sink washing pump parts and wondering
why something so essential had to be so exhausting.
Returning to work made it even harder. Without proper accommodations, I often had to clean my pump parts in public sinks. The on-the-go options didn’t feel practical either, wipes could leave residue, and carrying a bulky basin wasn’t realistic.
I knew there had to be a better way. So I began testing and refining ideas with one goal: create a quick, simple, and discreet way to clean pump parts wherever motherhood takes you.
That idea became Milk Minded, a compact, easy-to-use breast pump cleaning kit designed to remove one more obstacle from a mother’s day. Because every mother deserves practical support that helps her keep going.
